IN THE PRESENT programming position, ABS-CBN’s weekend primetime is evidently popular due to a competition show — whether if it is a franchise or an original concept — and one of them will be premiered this weekend.
Enter “Dance Kids.”
The upcoming program, replacing the concluded Pinoy Big Brother 737, is an original concept and it lives up to its name: a dance competition intended for kids.
Auditions were rendered all over the country a few months ago with less notice, compared that to its former well-known placeholders such as the immediate predecessor and the former’s predecessor, The Voice Kids.
Recently, the judges of the new reality competition or dubbed as “Dance Masters” has been disclosed on the TV plug:
- Vhong Navarro, one of the Streetboys members and the network’s exclusive talent,
- “Teacher” Georcelle Dapat-Sy, choreographer of G-Force, and
- Andy Alviz, the director of Pampanga’s famous theatrical-musical group ArtiSta. Rita
The new program will be hosted by Alex Gonzaga and Robi Domingo.
“Dance Kids” commences this weekend, together with the currently running franchise of Your Face Sounds Familiar (season 2), only on ABS-CBN.
